Placery Privacy Policy

  • App: Placery (제자리 in Korean), Google Play app.lunive.moveinventory
  • Provider: Lunive
  • Effective: October 19, 2026

Lunive ("we", "us") provides Placery (the "App"), an app that helps you organise a move and keep track of your belongings. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how your information is handled when you use the App.

The App is designed to process your information on your device only. We do not operate servers, and we do not collect, view or store your information. Your information leaves your device only through the device-to-device connection described in Section 4 and through exports you make yourself.

Your rights and how to exercise them are described in Section 7, "Rights and choices".

1. Information processed on your device

The App processes the following information only on your device, in app-private storage that other apps cannot access. We never receive it.

Information you enter

  • Items and boxes: names, categories, memos, quantities and units, the box an item is in, a box's destination, and whether a box is sealed.
  • Label settings: label design, paper type and print calibration values.
  • App settings: your purpose, display settings such as theme and motion, visible tabs and features, and whether automatic backup is on.

If you write personal information in a name or memo, it is also processed on your device only, under this Policy.

Information the App creates on your device

  • Label codes: random values that tell items and boxes apart. They contain no information about you.
  • Change history: records of registrations, edits, moves and deletions, used for undo, to prevent duplicate changes, and to sync between your devices.
  • Print history: the labels you made and their print results.
  • Automatic backups: backup files of the above, made once a day (the latest 7 are kept) and before each restore (the latest 3 are kept).
  • Connected devices: for the connection in Section 4, each device's name, its pairing public key and the time of the last sync.

Information we do not collect

The App has no accounts and does not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, usage statistics or crash reports. The App uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools.

2. How the information is used

The App uses the information in Section 1, on your device, only to:

  • record and search where your items and boxes are;
  • create, print and scan labels;
  • back up and restore your data;
  • sync data between devices you connected and verify the other device; and
  • apply the screens and settings you chose.

3. Device permissions

The App asks for these permissions when you first use the feature that needs them. All of them are optional: if you decline, everything that does not need that permission keeps working. You can withdraw a permission at any time in your device settings.

  • Camera: to scan labels and photograph a print calibration sheet. Frames are analysed on the device and discarded immediately; no video, photo or scanned value is stored or sent.
  • Local network: only to find your connected devices on the same Wi-Fi network and exchange data with them.
  • Notifications: to show that a sync between your devices is running while the App is closed.

4. Information that leaves your device

Device-to-device connection

If you choose to use the same list on several devices, the App exchanges information as follows.

  • Recipients: only your own other devices that you connected by scanning a QR code.
  • Route: directly between devices on the same Wi-Fi network, never through a server operated by us or anyone else.
  • Items: item and box information, label codes, label settings and the change history needed to keep them in sync. Camera data, backup files and display settings are not sent.
  • Protection: the connection is encrypted with TLS 1.3, and each device verifies the other with the device key exchanged when they were connected. Nothing is exchanged with an unverified device.
  • Stopping: you can disconnect a device at any time under Settings › Sharing and backup; it then receives nothing further.

Exports you make

  • Backup files and PDFs: saved only where you choose in the system file picker. The App does not remember that location. You can lock a backup file with a password (AES-256-GCM); the password is not stored and cannot be recovered.
  • Printing: the document is handed through Android printing to the printer or print service you choose.

Once exported, the information is subject to the policies of that storage location or print service.

5. Sharing, processors and international transfers

We do not share or sell your information, do not use processors to handle it, and do not transfer it abroad. Because we hold none of your information, we have nothing to disclose even when the law requests it.

App-stability information that Google Play may collect according to your device settings is governed by Google's privacy policy.

6. Retention, deletion and security

Retention and deletion

  • Information stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
  • A deleted item or box disappears from lists and search at once. The deletion mark kept so that its label code is never reused is removed when you uninstall the App.
  • Automatic backups beyond the number kept are deleted automatically, oldest first.
  • Information about a disconnected device is deleted as soon as you disconnect it.
  • Uninstalling the App deletes everything in its private storage, including automatic backups. Backup files and PDFs you saved yourself stay where you saved them.

Security measures

  • Information is kept in app-private storage that other apps cannot access.
  • App data is excluded from Android cloud backups and from transfers to a new device.
  • Transfers between devices are encrypted and take place only with verified connected devices.
  • Backup files can be locked with a password.
  • The App's logs never contain item names, label contents or other information you entered.

7. Rights and choices

At any time in the App you can:

  • View and correct: see and edit all item and box information.
  • Delete: delete items and boxes, or uninstall the App to delete everything.
  • Move: create a backup file and take it to another device. Unlocked backup files use a human-readable format (JSON).
  • Choose: turn device permissions, automatic backup and device connections on or off.

Because we hold none of your information, there is nothing to request from us to view, correct or delete. For questions about this Policy, use the contact details in Section 10.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this Policy

If we change this Policy, we publish the new version on this page and, with an app update, under "About › Privacy Policy" in the App, and state its effective date.
